TAKWYN forms living tissue from cells. The name says what the company does, in the language of the place it is being built.

From the root k-w-n – to be. The same root gives kawn, the cosmos, and ʿilm al-takwīn, embryology.
ʿIlm al-takwīn – embryology. Takwīn al-ansija – the formation of tissue. In Arabic, our name is already the name of what we do.
The Y is deliberate. TAKWYN is a stylisation of the root, chosen so the mark is distinct and defensible, not a misspelling of it.
We work at the layer below therapy, where tissue is made. That is what the name commits us to.
